Sustainability in Action
28 September to 4 October 2026
Join Hands Across Europe for a Week of Impact!
Take action, meet new people, contribute to your community and become part of a Europe-wide movement for sustainability.
One week. One community. A lasting impact.
Join students from across Europe for a week dedicated to making a positive impact in our communities and environment.
As part of the Unite! Volunteers Program 2026, partner universities across the Unite! alliance will organise local volunteer initiatives under the common theme "Sustainability in Action". Through a variety of hands-on activities, students will have the opportunity to contribute to environmental sustainability while connecting with fellow participants from different cultures and academic backgrounds.
This pilot initiative supports the Unite! commitment to student engagement and social responsibility, bringing together students from all partner institutions in a shared European experience. Each participating university will organise its own activity, reflecting local priorities while contributing to a shared Unite! goal of creating positive environmental impact.
Who Can Participate?
The programme is open to all students from Unite! universities, including:
- Degree-seeking students
- Exchange students
Some events are open to the larger comunity of the universities, either studying or working: PoliTO, TU Graz, ULisboa.
Whether you are new to your university or already actively involved in campus life, this is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful local action while becoming part of a wider European movement.

Whether you're looking to solve a problem, showcase an initiative, or simply talk about your day-to-day work with someone who understands, the Networking Hub is for you.
How does it work?
- 9 sessions per year, one per month (starting in October 2025)
- Held on the third Tuesday of each month at 13:00 CET
