Unite! Widening Staff Week @KTH (Stockholm)
Research and Innovation support staff are invited to attend this 5-day in-person event to share and learn best practices in Horizon Europe proposal and project support. The Staff Week will be held at the Valhallavägen campus of KTH Royal Institute of Technology, close to the centre of Stockholm.
What you’ll gain
- Understanding of KTH’s research and innovation support landscape.
- Practical approaches on how KTH supports researchers at both the pre- and post-award stages in Horizon Europe projects.
- Insights into supporting the translation of research to market with KTH innovation.
- Sharing of best practices in cross-cutting issues such as open science, data management, gender dimension, sustainability, ethics and export control.
- An opportunity to exchange knowledge and network with your peers from across the Unite! alliance.
Format :
- 5 day in-person event (lunch-to-lunch) : presentations from KTH’s research and innovation support landscape, workshop, participant involvement, networking moments, social dinner and activity.
Who should apply ?
Administrative and technical staff in research and innovation support across Unite! partner university and Widening universities.
- Number of available slots for ULisboa participants: 10
- Number of available slots for WrocławTech participants: 10
- Number of available slots for each other Unite! University : up to 10, inluding several slots for KTH's R&I support staff.
- Number of available slots for other Widening universities: 4
Participation & costs:
Participation is free of charge. Travel and accommodation are also covered, following Unite! Widening rules and will be confirmed to selected participants, for participants from ULisboa and WrocławTech. For other participants, travels costs can be covered via other schemes such as Erasmus+.
Application procedure :
Deadline for applications will be July 1rst.
All applicants will receive information about the status of their application by July 10th.

What is the Unite! Networking Hub?
The Unite! Networking Hub is a virtual space designed for academic and administrative staff from Unite! ’s partner universities. How does it work?
- 9 sessions per year, one per month (starting in October 2025)
- Held on the third Tuesday of each month at 13:00 CET
- Each session lasts approximately one hour
- Hosted on a virtual platform
